One of the challenges I hear from my clients all the time is that they can't find new customers.
And then as I start to give them ideas they say, "well, my customers won't like that" or "that won't work with my customers"
and I say to them with a grin:
"so, your current customers aren't buying product, not bringing you anyone new, but we are going to continue to build a business around those people who aren't spending or sharing us?"
And they grin back
because they know it doesn't sound right.
Now I am not saying that we need to throw those old customers to the curb, but we can't move forward and grow our businesses if we are stuck with what we have always done with the customers we have always had.
If we want new customers we need to do new things.
that thinking holds true in every part of our life, so what not this part of our business?
